Visit the cozy trading town of Nykøbing Mors and get a cultural and unique dinning experience in a historical and authentic setting.
Here you are taken along to the Danish Foundry Museum, which is housed in the old Iron Foundry in the middle of the Nykøbing city on Mors, where the exciting history of the Foundry is told. Guests are given a guided tour of the museum's countless tiled stoves, fireplaces, stoves and kitchenware, which have been known far and wide across most of the country since the mid-19th century. At the same time the story of how the founder, N.A. Christensen, on the island of Mors created one of Northern Europe's largest iron foundries.
After the visit to the museum the trip goes down to Nykøbing's oldest restaurant "Restaurant Limfjorden", which is beautifully located right by the city's harbor.
Here you get a short story about the harbor and the restaurant's history, all the while the delicious smell of the food from the lit fire pits in the atmospheric courtyard creeps up on you.
The lunch consists of beer-steamed Limfjord mussels or beer-braised beef shank - all prepared in the right, raw cast iron pots and pans from Morsø Jernstøberi.

12.15pm: Short guided walk from the Danish Foundry Museum to Restaurant Limfjorden.
12.30 - 2.30pm: Lunch at Restaurant Limfjorden.
You can choose between beer-steamed mussels or beer-braised beef shank. Breakfast includes a glass of wine or a liter of local beer / soda.
Minimum number of participants: Max 10 people. For larger groups, contact Museum Mors.
Unfortunately, the Danish Foundry Museum is not suitable for wheelchair users or prams.
Clothing: Remember warm outerwear for the walk and for lunch in the courtyard. In case of bad weather we eat inside.
